Yellowstone National Park

Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park was the first national park in the United States and is also widely held to be the first national park in the world.

The park is known for its wildlife and its many geothermal features, especially Old Faithful geyser, one of its most popular attractions. It's located on a hotspot where a volcano used to be.

Yellowstone National Park is a really big natural playground covering about 3,500 square miles. It's also home to hundreds of animal species, including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope.
