Chinese airlines have started using Augmented Reality (AR) for in-flight entertainment, making them the first in the world to do so.

On February 7th at 10 a.m., passengers flying from Shenzhen to Xi'an got a special treat on Hainan Airlines flight HU7874. They experienced the world's first augmented reality (AR) in-flight adventure, thanks to a Chinese airline.

These kits come with a variety of 3D offline movies, giving travelers a new way to enjoy entertainment while flying. The goal of this project is to make passengers happy and improve their flight experience with the newest technology.
