My travel luggage is very lightweight, yet it has everything I need, so I never feel like I’m away from home or in a different place. You’d like to know what is in my travel bag.

So I mentioned all the items that I must pack in my travel bag, and are essentials for every traveler. And this is my guarantee that if you pack these things, you won’t face any difficulties while traveling.

My Must Pack Items for Every Journey:

    1. Passport & Travel Documents:

The first thing I always put in my bag is my passport and travel documents, along with their duplicate copies. The travel documents include my identity card, boarding passes, visas, and insurance info.

Make sure to carry these documents in a safe and secure pouch or pocket in a travel bag. Keep this pouch with you in such a way that you can easily access it, like during a flight for any verification purpose. And when you reach your destination, keep it in the safe pocket of your travel bag.

    2. Money Belt:

My second important item is a money belt. A money belt is designed to be worn discreetly under your clothes which makes it really secure way to keep your cash, credit cards, and important documents close to your body.

Money belts come in various styles and sizes, some belts can carry only a few essential items, however, others have multiple sections to better organize everything. I mostly use money belts with various sections that help me to keep my cash, credit cards, keys, and identity cards in a single, accessible & secure place.

    3. Portable Charger (Power Bank):

Oh, mobile phone—it’s something I can’t live without. I can manage without my partner, but not without my phone, haha😂. And if the phone’s battery dies while traveling, I get scared just thinking about it.

Without the phone, you can’t contact anyone, access Google Maps, and most importantly no mobile, no pictures, and ultimately no memories.

I don’t carry a separate camera; so my phone is my camera. So I can’t afford my mobile to shut down. Therefore, a power bank is essential to ensure that the mobile battery doesn’t die.

    4. First-Aid Kit:

Having a first aid kit while traveling is very important because life is quite unpredictable.

For instance, you might suddenly get an injury, and a bandage is essential for that. Sometimes, you might also get a headache during your travels, so you must have a medicine for it.

Also, keep anti allergies and anti-vomiting in your first aid kit.

Like me, many people experience nausea and vomiting while traveling, and it is quite disturbing. So, it’s essential to bring anti-nausea medication and some candies or other remedies to prevent vomiting and discomfort. Also, be sure to consult your doctor before you go on your trip.

And if you’re going to a forest, an insect repeller is crucial, also keep hand wipes and sanitizer along with you. So, make sure to include a first aid kit in your travel bag before you go on your trip.

    5. Comfortable Shoes:

If your shoes are not comfortable, then believe me you can’t enjoy fully while traveling. You’ll get tired quickly and won’t be able to enjoy yourself properly.

Even if you’re not going hiking, wear comfortable shoes that provide support for your feet and make walking enjoyable. So no compromise on shoes.

    6. Toiletries:

Must carry a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, sunscreen, deodorant, and other personal care products in your luggage. You might find these products in your hotel room, but their quality might not be good. So it’s better to bring your preferred products with you. I always bring my skincare products that help me to feel fresh during my journey.

Also, must apply sunblock before going outdoors. Otherwise, when you return from your journey then your friends will ask you what happened to your color dude…Hahaha

    7. Noise-cancelling Headphones:

I can handle a lot of things while traveling, but being stuck with noisy surroundings or a crying baby on a plane is something I’d rather avoid. In such conditions, I feel noise-cancelling headphones are invented for me. They help me to block out unwanted sounds and enjoy my music or podcasts.

Whether I’m on a long flight, on a noisy train, or in a bustling city, these headphones are always with me. Plus, they’re great for getting some rest without disturbances.

So, to make sure my travel experience is as pleasant as possible, I always pack my noise-canceling headphones.

    8. Travel Pillow and Eye Mask:

A travel pillow and eye mask are also very important for me because when I travel by air or by car, my neck gets very tired and starts to hurt. However, if I have a travel pillow, my neck stays relaxed, and I don’t feel as tired.

With an eye mask, I can sleep comfortably. That’s why I always make sure to bring both of these items with me whenever I travel.

    9. Reusable Water Bottle:

Hydration while traveling is very important. So I make sure to carry my water bottle. And if I buy the same water bottle from a store, it will be more expensive. My travel backpack has a separate water bottle compartment so it’s very easy for me to carry a water bottle.

    10. Umbrella:

I also keep a small umbrella in my travel backpack. Because you can never be sure when it might rain, an umbrella is useful not only for rain but also for when there is strong sunlight.

    11. Snacks:

Before going to travel, I must pack healthy snacks like nuts, granola bars, or dried fruit for long flights, road trips, or hiking adventures that helped me a lot, when food options might be limited. I also bring along some cereal for a quick breakfast option that takes just 10 minutes to prepare.

Believe me, travelers! if you carry all these items with you, you’ll say, I was forgetting this! Why didn’t anyone tell me earlier?😀Happy Traveling.
